Estate Assets and InventoryFlorida workflow

Prepare and File a Florida Probate Inventory

Build a source-linked estate asset schedule, preserve ownership and valuation evidence, prepare the confidential inventory from lawyer-approved classifications, and reconcile filing and service proof.

Core lesson: 95-100 minutes Reviewed against 12 official and supporting sources

Goal & what you need

Goal

Prevent omitted assets, duplicate entries, unsupported ownership or probate classifications, mixed valuation dates, exposed confidential information, incomplete service, and stale inventory versions.

What you need

  • Opened Florida formal administration with current letters and docket
  • Responsible lawyer and personal representative assigned to control asset classification, homestead, exempt-property, ownership, valuation, filing, service, and amendments
  • Access to verified title, account, property, appraisal, beneficiary, and date-of-death evidence or documented gaps

Check your firm’s process. This lesson teaches a safe general workflow. Your firm’s software, folder names, naming rules, retention steps, and escalation contacts may differ. If you are unsure, stop and ask your supervisor.
