Goal & what you need
Goal
Prevent omitted or misidentified recipients, stale addresses, defective notice language, unsupported representation, invalid waiver assumptions, missing proof, and staff-created legal deadlines.
What you need
- Opened Florida probate administration with current docket, order, letters, and admitted instruments available
- Responsible lawyer assigned to decide recipients, representation, service method, waivers, and calendars
- Verified family, beneficiary, trust, address, prior-service, and capacity sources available or exceptions identified
Check your firm’s process. This lesson teaches a safe general workflow. Your firm’s software, folder names, naming rules, retention steps, and escalation contacts may differ. If you are unsure, stop and ask your supervisor.
