Register or renew the correct Florida fictitious name, connect it to the correct owner, preserve proof, and prevent public-record, identity, expiration, and filing-path errors.
What you need
- The exact intended fictitious name or existing 12-digit registration number
- The legal name and mailing address of every owner
- The Florida county of the principal place of business
- The Florida document number for each owner that is a registered business entity
- Authorized direction on whether to register, renew, update owners, cancel, or re-register
- Evidence that the required newspaper advertisement occurred for a new registration
- A valid email address and approved payment method
- Authority for the individual who will sign the filing
